Medieval Mayhem yet again
So on Sunday the Dynamic Duo (aka Brett and Audrey) returned to the Great Lakes Medieval Faire to Wreak some Wroyal Havoc. Which we did, in the form of an extended photo shoot, interspersed with food and shoptalk. Met some fellow seamstresses, including a lady who beads(yay!) and another that does *unique* medieval clothing, s opposed to shirt/bodice/skirt combinations. I was sporting my buccaneer hat and new Venetian gown (those eyelets took FOREVER) wiht my prized blackwork shirt (also took me ages to do all the hand embroidery, but was totally worth it). So here be the photographic evidence:

So I finally found my knight in shining armor! Unfortunately, although he was so kind as to pose with me, he was about 15 years too old and a tad to bald for my tastes.

Here be my traveling companion, Brett, with a Knight as well. The ladies just can't resist the armor.

Me and my formidable hat, which I made with tender care. Currently psoing as Arrgh! Ethel the Pirate's Daughter.
